The Gardenboy will easily remove unwanted turf from the edges of beds or lawn. The Gardenboy will even scarify compacted soil without requiring great effort. By harrowing the scarifi ed layer of soil the Gardenboy gives the earth an ideal structure for sowing. If the Gardenboy is regularly used for loosening, this will encourage the development of important microorganisms in the soil, and reduce the numbers of weeds. The oscillating action of the Gardenboy removes weeds complete with stalk and root, thus preventing them from growing back quickly.
